2023 Week 6: Beauty Brand and Product Launches

Haircare products are prevalent this week with the launch of Hair Proud and Vegamour’s new HYDR-8 collection. ISAMAYA got the beauty industry talking with the release of their provocative Lips collection that pays homage to a certain part of the male body. On the other end of the spectrum, Zara launched Mini Artists, a line of playful beauty products for kids. Here’s what else happened in beauty this week:RETAILNordstrom has added Ourself to their skincare assortment online and in 25 doors with HA+ Replenishing Serum, Daily Renewal Cream, Daily Renewal Cream Rich, Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum, and Daily Dark Spot Intercept. Nordstrom is the brand's fourth retail partner in less than a year since launching DTC in February 2022. Nordstrom joins Violet Grey, Blue Mercury, and Moda Operandi.Algae-infused skincare brand Mara expands its distribution, launching on sephora.com with a brick-and-mortar rollout to 252 Sephora stores beginning March 10. The brand is also available at Anthropologie, Free People, and Credo Beauty.Johnson & Johnson–owned, doctor-dispensed skincare brand Neostrata is expanding outside the professional channel to retail for the first time with a rollout in 147 Target stores and target.com.Loops Beauty debuts its hydrogel mask in more than 1,500 Target stores, and online at the retailer’s physical outlets. The masks retail for $5.99, and include Clean Slate, Double Take, Sunrise Service, and Weekly Reset. This expansion is a considerable scaling up of distribution from Ulta Beauty and Nordstrom.
